What is the difference between AIRWATER® and AIRWATER FLAVA®?
AIRWATER® and AIRWATER FLAVA® offer two different ways to make drinking water more enjoyable.
AIRWATER® with Scented Pods
- Uses scented pods to create the sensation of flavour through aroma.
- Nothing is added to your water — you are still drinking pure, plain water.
- Contains zero sugar and zero calories.
- The flavour experience is subtle, refreshing and created through scent while you drink.
- Each scented pod lasts approximately 10–15 litres.
AIRWATER FLAVA® with FLAVA Capsules
- Uses FLAVA Capsules to give your water a stronger, actual flavour experience.

- Each capsule can last for weeks, depending on the flavour strength you select and how much water you drink.

How do AIRWATER® Scented Pods work?
AIRWATER® bottles are uniquely designed to work with our Scented Pods. Each pod has a tiny opening that lines up with the opening on the bottle’s spout.
When you sip, the aroma from the pod combines with the drinking experience, allowing your brain to perceive flavour through scent — while the water itself remains completely unchanged.
The result is a subtle and refreshing flavour sensation without adding anything to your water.

How do AIRWATER FLAVA® Capsules work?
AIRWATER FLAVA® uses our NEW FLAVA Capsules to create a stronger flavoured-water experience.
Simply insert your FLAVA Capsule and use the adjustable flavour dial from 0–9 to control how strong you want your flavour.
- 0 – No flavour
- Lower settings – Lighter flavour
- Higher settings – Stronger flavour
You can adjust the dial whenever you like, making it easy to find the perfect flavour strength for you.

How long do AIRWATER® Scented Pods last?
AIRWATER® Scented Pods last approximately 10–15 litres, depending on use.
After opening your pod, keep it stored in the sealed AIRWATER bag when you’re not using it to help preserve the scent.

How long do AIRWATER FLAVA® Capsules last?
Each AIRWATER FLAVA® Capsule can last for weeks, depending on how often you use your bottle and the flavour strength you select.
The higher you turn the flavour dial, the more flavour is released. Using a lower flavour setting will therefore help your capsule last longer.
Each capsule can make litres of delicious flavoured water with zero sugar and zero calories.

Can I adjust the flavour strength of AIRWATER FLAVA®?
Yes! This is one of the biggest differences between AIRWATER® Scented Pods and AIRWATER FLAVA® Capsules.
AIRWATER FLAVA® gives you control over your flavour strength with an adjustable dial from 0–9.
Want just a hint of flavour? Keep the setting low.
Want a much stronger flavour? Turn the dial up.
You can change the strength at any time to suit your taste.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery is super-fast with The Courier Guy. Orders are usually delivered within 1–2 working days nationwide.
Orders over R1,000 qualify for free nationwide delivery.

Are AIRWATER® Scented Pods and AIRWATER FLAVA® Capsules the same thing?
No. They are two different products with different flavour experiences.
AIRWATER® Scented Pods use aroma to create the perception of flavour. The water remains completely plain, and nothing from the pod is added to your water.
AIRWATER FLAVA® Capsules are designed to provide a stronger flavour experience and allow you to adjust the flavour intensity from 0–9.
Make sure you purchase the correct pods or capsules for your AIRWATER bottle model.

Are all AIRWATER® bottle designs the same?
No. We have different bottle designs and models, and the way pods or capsules are fitted may differ.
Please refer to the instructions supplied with your bottle to make sure you are attaching your Scented Pod or FLAVA Capsule correctly.

With AIRWATER® Scented Pods, am I only drinking water?
Yes. With the original AIRWATER® Scented Pod system, you are only drinking water.
The water inside your bottle remains pure and unchanged. Nothing is added to the water — no sugar, sweeteners or calories.
The pods use ingredients such as fruits, herbs and spices to release aromas. As you drink, your sense of smell works together with your sense of taste to create the perception of flavour.

How can I tell if I’m using my AIRWATER® Scented Pod Bottle correctly?
AIRWATER® isn’t used like an ordinary bottle — and that’s exactly the point.
😋 You notice flavour, even though it’s just water
This is the main indicator that everything is working correctly.
If your water seems to have a flavour such as Cherry Kola, Peach or another Scented Pod flavour — without anything being mixed into your water — that sensation comes from scent, not additives.
The water itself stays completely plain. As you drink, the aroma travels from your mouth to your nose, and your brain translates that scent into the sensation of flavour.
✨ You feel or hear light bubbling while drinking
That bubbling sensation is completely normal and is an important part of the AIRWATER® experience.
Small air bubbles form as you sip. These bubbles help carry the scent through your mouth and towards your nose.
Remember: the aroma is what creates the flavour sensation, so getting the airflow right is an important part of using your AIRWATER® bottle correctly.

What’s the process for returning my order?
Changed your mind? No problem.
You can return your order within 7 days of receiving it.
Please note:
- Bottles cannot be returned once they have been opened.
- AIRWATER® Scented Pods must be unopened to qualify for a return.
- AIRWATER FLAVA® Capsules must be unopened to qualify for a return.
- Return courier costs are the customer’s responsibility.
To begin your return, simply send us an email with your request. Remember to include your order number and the email address used at checkout, as well as the item(s) you would like to return.
You will need to courier the approved items back to us for a refund.
Once your return has been received and approved, your refund will be processed within 7 working days. If it takes longer, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist. 💙
